FAQ

​How do I place an order?

 

Simply go to the product page you are interested in and select your ring size from the options and add the item to the cart.  If you do not see your ring size listed, contact us for a price quote on your size.  If you want to upgrade your metal to stainless steel or Continuum silver, simply purchase that upgrade and add it to your shopping bag and then finish checking out.  If you want to upgrade to gold or platinum, contact us with your ring size or sizes for a price quote.  You are also welcome to call and complete your purchase over the phone.  You will need to have the ring style number, your ring size and your credit card information ready.

 

What metal options are available?

 

Most of our inlaid turquoise ring designs are shown in standard sterling silver to show the most affordable option.  We offer Continuum silver as a tarnish resistant option to standard sterling silver.  It is also considerably harder than standard sterling silver and will provide more durability and add years of life to your ring.  Stainless steel is also an option that will added durability.  We use 316L surgical grade stainless steel that is considered to be hypoallergenic.  Gold upgrade options are 14 karat yellow, white and rose gold.  We will need your ring size to give you a price quote for the gold upgrade.  Price quotes for the gold upgrade may only be good for a short time during periods of extreme volatility in the gold market.  Platinum is the final upgrade option and the most expensive.  We will need your ring size to give you price for the platinum upgrade cost.  Prices for platinum upgrades, like the gold upgrade, are only good for a limited time.

 

What if I don't know my ring size?

 

It is very important that you give us an accurate ring size when ordering your turquoise ring.  Do not guess! Turquoise inlay rings are very difficult to resize once the inlay is in place.  Sizing the ring places stress on the inlay and can result in cracking the turquoise or the inlay coming out of the ring, resulting in expensive repairs.  The best way to get your finger sized is to visit a reputable jeweler, or two, and have your finger measured with a sizer that is a similar width as the ring you intend to purchase.  It is also import to have your finger measured with a standard ring sizer and NOT a comfort fit sizer.  Our rings are not comfort fit and there is a big difference in sizing for "standard fit" versus "comfort fit".  Read our blog post about getting an accurate ring size for more information.

Do you offer returns or refunds?

 

You may receive a refund for items returned (made to order rings are not returnable) in original "new" condition as long as Hileman Silver Jewelry receives the item within 10 days of the purchase date. Special order sizes, made to order rings and special inlay requests are not returnable. Items returned after 10 days will receive a merchandise credit. Items are not returnable for any reason after 14 days without prior discussion and approval. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Items are inspected before being shipped from our studio. If you receive an item damaged during shipment, save the box and notify the carrier (UPS) of the damages. If you notice a defect in your ring or jewelry, contact us for return instructions and we will repair the defect, replace the item with a new one or refund your purchase price if we cannot fix it. We cannot warranty our products due to the varying wear and tear based on customer activities and care.
